StoryTiles is a young design company founded by Marga van Oers & Judith Beek. The idea behind StoryTiles emerged when Marga received a box filed with Old Dutch tiles from her grandmother. Inspired by this Dutch tradition, she began designing her own modern tiles. With a lot of enthsiasm she shared her ideas with sister in law Judith Beek, who saw immediate success. Together they launched the company named StoryTiles with a crowdfund campaign. Within a short amount of time they achieved their funding goal, which was the beginning of the StoryTiles adventure. Marga: “The special thing about StoryTiles are the memories that are recalled while looking at the storytiles. Everybody recognizes their own story in the miniature art works.”
Judith: “It makes people feel happy. The little jokes incorporated into the tiles, always put a smile on your face. That’s fantastic!”
