Meet myLifebox. Even though Anna Rosa loves architecture and she never had second thoughts on her choice of studies, her love for exploring new fields always fascinated her. “Cause you don’t need diamonds to shine” is her motto and the core belief behind myLifebox.
“Cause you don’t need diamonds to shine” is my motto and the core belief behind my brand. I am Anna-Rosa and myLifebox is my Minimal Statement Jewelry brand. I am based in the Netherlands, where I officially started my business in September 2015, but I’ve been working on myLifebox unofficially since late 2013. The most interesting thing is that I started making jewelry as a hobby, when I was still studying architecture, but I fell so much in love with it that I couldn’t stop it. That’s probably why I always feel a bit overwhelmed when it comes to explaining how I created myLifebox… Mostly because the first word that comes to my mind is “randomly”.
Even though I love architecture and I never had second thoughts on my choice of studies, my love for exploring new fields always fascinated me to the bones. Ever since I remember myself I had new creative ideas every two weeks; most of them didn’t even make sense, but my head literally couldn’t stop. And, frankly, still hasn’t. That’s why I never actually thought that myLifebox could be something more than a fun idea. And yet, it is and it has made me so happy to see women feeling unique and confident wearing my creations, that I wouldn’t trade it with the world. The most inspiring part of being a designer and running your own brand is that there are always new things to learn, which I find particularly motivating. That’s why I love working with my customers on custom designs, specifically made for them. Because at the end of the day, what matters the most is how we feel; and feeling confident rocks!
